Considerations When Writing Abstracts:

  • The language of the Congress is Turkish and English.
  • The abstract should be between 500 and 1000 words.
  • The abstract should include the purpose of the study, methodology, findings and conclusions for finished studies.
  • If other sources are cited in the abstract, a bibliography section should be added to the text.
  • The abstract should include at least 3 and at most 5 keywords related to the study.
  • Abstracts will be sent by using the "Paper/Text Proposal Submission" button on the Congress website.
  • Authors are responsible for spelling and semantic errors in the abstracts.
  • In case of need, corrections of accepted papers will be made by the author(s). No corrections will be made by the Congress Committees in the abstracts corrected and uploaded to the system.

Considerations in Writing Workshop Text Proposals:

  • Workshop proposals will be written in Turkish.
  • The workshop proposal text should be between 500 - 1000 words (unless otherwise specified in the workshop-specific call for proposals).
  • The text of the workshop proposal should include information on the purpose and methodology of the workshop.
  • If other sources are cited in the workshop proposal text, a bibliography section should be included in the proposal text.
  • Workshop proposal texts will be sent by using the "Paper/Text Proposal Submission" button on the Congress website.
  • In case of need, the correction of the accepted proposal texts will be made by those who send the workshop proposal texts. No corrections will be made by the workshop coordinators in the workshop proposal texts that have been corrected and uploaded to the system.

Issues to be Considered While Writing the Full Text of the Proceedings:

  • The language of the Congress is Turkish and English.
  • The full text of the paper should be at least 5000 and at most 10000 words including text, tables, figures, graphs, maps, references and appendices.
  • Full papers should be in Microsoft WORD file (.doc or .docx) format.
  • Full papers should be in Times New Roman font, 12 pt, single line spacing, "justify" format.
  • In full papers, paragraphs should be indented at the beginning and one line space should be left between paragraphs.
  • A4 page size should be used for full papers.
  • The page margins of the full text of the paper should be 3 cm. on the left, 2.5 cm. on the right, top and bottom.
  • The title of the full paper should be written in bold, capital letters, at the top of the page in 14 pt. font size and centered.
  • In the full text of the paper, the author's name and surname should be placed one line below the title and centered. The first letter of the first name should be capitalized, and the surname should be written in all capital letters in 12 pt. font size. If there is more than one author, the first and last names of the authors should be written one after the other. The titles, affiliations, and e-mail information of the authors, if any, should be written as footnotes at the bottom of the page, in 10 font size and single-spaced.
  • Full papers should include both Turkish and English abstracts. The text of the abstract should be in Times New Roman font, 12 pt, single-spaced, and "justify" format.
  • There should be a keywords section after the abstract. In this section, keywords should be separated by commas and listed in a list.
  • The full text of the paper should include the purpose, method, findings and conclusions of the study in separate sections.
  • The captions of the photographs, visuals such as graphics and maps, and pictures presented in the full text of the paper should be given in 10 font size.
  • Each reference in the text must be included in the bibliography. References in the text and bibliography should follow APA format.
